Well, there's no way my bio will be as long as Chris'. I haven't done so much in my life! My favorite color is purple, my favorite music style is progressive rock, though I like many styles including regular rock, goth, industrial, metal, EBM, classical, Celtic, folk, and more music that I haven't met yet. I really can't stand sappy wedding music...oops! I guess we'll have to compromise somehow. I love cats the best, but all animals are great. I have a cat and a rat right now, but I'd like more pets!

I grew up in Rock Hill, SC, in a big brick house with hardwood floors and a fireplace. I loved that house, despite it's wierd winter infestations of some unusually juicy crickets. Not something to step on in your bare feet! (Yuck!) It seemed like a very nice house, but it was only God's blessing that let us live there. We got a great deal from some landlords who I still have fond memories of. Melissa and Christie were the landlord's kids and I played with them almost every day growing up. We always played outside or on the trampoline, and we fought all the time but still loved each other.

My parents were always doing some kind of music, whether in the worship band of our current church, or when they were playing in Ground Zero and even touring a teensy bit! I liked to record their practice sessions on my little handheld tape recorder and make my own radio shows from it.

I had other friends from school and church as I was growing up. Ginny was my best friend for a time, and she and I spent our hours dreamng of being horseback-riding detectives just like Trixie Belden. Then I lost track of Ginny and Susan became my best friend. Sometimes I would go to her grandparent's farm with her. I always loved all the kittens she would have in the spring.

When we moved to Charleston, I was very sad. I kept in touch with all my old friends for a while, and Susan even came to visit me some. But gradually I began to make new friends and put down roots in Charleston. I met a girl named Katelyn who introduced me to this really crazy hyperactive chick named Stephanie. Woo! She was nuts! I didn't meet her again until a year later when we really started to become best friends. My other best friend was Crystal. I met her at lunchtime, while looking for someone else who was an outcast and sitting all alone. Soon, Crystal, Stephanie, and I became an inseparable trio. We became rather infamous at school...but that's just because people were jealous that we could have fun and not care about the teenage crap that other school kids were worried about. I still liked to pretend and play, and didn't see any reason to hide it just because it might be "uncool." I still do, today!

Graduating high school was a big non-event, but I went to make my parents happy. College was scary and exciting, and I wanted to major in Creative Writing but it wasn't possible! So, I majored in Theatre and minored in Creative Writing. It was a lot of fun, for the most part. I was also able to fulfill my dream of studying a semester in England. I got to see London, and really fell in love with the place. I'd always wanted to be a proper Englishwoman anyway. Of course, I hear Scotland and Ireland aren't to be missed either. I missed a lot of trips to the rest of Europe because I couldn't afford them, but I did what I could. I saw Stonehenge, Avebury, and a real barrow down! (I just know Tom Bombadil was hiding around there somewhere in case I needed rescuing!) I'm very interested in ancient Celtic lore, thanks to the books of Stephen Lawhead. I didn't get to see everything I wanted, but I plan on going back someday!

I came home, finished college, and eventually moved out. Chris helped me move into an apartment in his complex. I could never quite tell if he had a crush on me or not...but I started to have a crush on him. In fact, I fell in love with him, and it took an infuriatingly long time for him to admit that he was in love with me, too, enough to ask me to be his girlfriend. Finally, it happened, and things just kept a fast pace since then. Now I just have a few more months to wait and we'll be married! I can't wait!
